Career
Nishikifuji is a *maegashira*-ranked wrestler from Aomori Prefecture competing for Isegahama stable. He made his professional debut in September 2016. Standing 184 cm and weighing 155 kg, he has maintained a position in the *makuuchi* division through 2026, with recent results showing the volatility typical of mid-*maegashira* competition. His record over the past year includes a strong 10–5 performance in July 2026 that earned promotion, followed by a *make-koshi* in September that returned him to the middle of the division.
His attack blends pushing techniques with *yotsu-zumō*, favoring *oshi-zumō* as his primary weapon while deploying belt work as a substantial secondary approach.
